Realizing Your Intentions by learning to shift from What’s in the Way to Who You want to Be

STEP 1

Before you start the meditation for the first time sit down with pen and paper and write about:

My Intention - could be for the day, the month or the year

STEP 2

Consider what you feel is in the way of you getting what you want and realizing your intention. Reflect on and write down the answers to these questions:

  • What thoughts or beliefs do I hold regarding my intention?
  • What emotions do I fall into regarding my intention?
  • How do I feel in my body regarding my intention?
  • What are my behaviors and actions associated with my thoughts and emotions regarding my intention?

STEP 3

Now consider and write down who you want to become when realizing your intention:

  • Who do I want to be?
  • Thoughts I want to tell myself?
  • Emotions I want to feel?
  • How I want to feel in my body?
  • How would I act and behave toward myself and others?

Keep these notes handy and revisit them daily before doing this meditation so you can practice to easily shift to your new declared way of being.

Set aside 15 minutes DAILY for this meditation so you can quickly shift from 'What’s in the Way' to 'Who You Want to Be'.
